Wireless Networks
ECL has installed and currently manages wireless networks from small user office based solutions to multiple outdoor networks.
Security is paramount to ECL and particularly when transmitting data via a wireless network. When airborne, data can be easily intercepted if the network is not properly protected via a security scheme. All ECL networks are protected using the industry standard WEP (Wired Equivalent Privacy) Encryption Protocol.
Wireless networks are a valuable source of income to many organisations. These can include Business Parks, Sports Stadiums, Conference and Meeting Centres, Hotels, Pubs and Coffee Bars to name but a few. ECL have efficient automatic credit card billing mechanisms that are embedded within the wireless network, therefore eliminating the need for administration and staff costs.
